Thank you for taking the time to visit us here at God Style Records. It has been a long journey for us since we began in 2001. Prior to that I have been honored to be a part of the “Preachas in tha Hood” legacy with my brother ‘FLOW’. We began in 1994 with our first public performance. At this event 40 Crip gang members made life changing decisions to follow Christ. Since then, we went on to perform, record and even sign to one of the most controversial record companies in 90’s, ‘Grape Tree Records’. During this time with ‘Grape Tree’, our second release ‘Tears of a Gangsta’ was nominated for a Dove Award in the category ‘Gospel Rap HipHop/Dance album of the year’. This opened the door for many Chicano rappers in the Gospel industry. Since then we have released numerous of titles through different distributors. The latest NEWS is we just signed a deal with Syntax Digital distribution for all online distribution of our titles. The digital world is taking over and we feel we can reach a big market through iTunes and more. We hope that in the future will be bring some of the most talented artist and releases in this field. We have a few projects in the making so be on the lookout for new material soon!
